Name server changes you must make by June 16th 2009
As part of our system upgrades we have send out notifications regarding mandatory name server changes for all customers using the name servers: ns1.dn.net ns2.dn.net If you are using these name servers you must change to use the following name servers: ns1.abihosting.com ns2.abihosting.com ns3.abihosting.com ns4.abihosting.com If you have any custom MX records we recomend that you log into WebSite OS and make changes to your abihosting.com DNS entries prior to making the switch. Instructons on how to access these DNS entries are listed below.
I dont want to us ns[1..4].abihosting.com name servers
If you do not wish to use the abihosting.com name servers you must move your DNS to another 3rd party provider and make the following edits: 64.29.145.9 for standard hosting customers 64.29.145.10 for domain pointing / host header sites If you have an SSL certificate installed on your website you will need to edit your hosting records to use a dedicated hosting IP. We emailed this NEW IP number to you, if you did not recieve it please call our technical support department for assistance. mail 64.29.145.40 pop 64.29.145.40 smtp 64.29.145.40 webmail 64.29.145.44 10 mx1c25.carrierzone.com. 100 mx2c25.carrierzone.com. 110 mx3c25.carrierzone.com. 120 mx4c25.carrierzone.com. You must make the above DNS changes by June 16th 2009 or your website will be unavailable.
How do I manage my own DNS stored on ns[1..4].abihosting.com?
You can manage your own DNS by going to WebSite OS and using the DNS manager application. This application can be found by carrying out the following steps: 1. Navigate to http://manage.abihosting.com/OS4/ 2. Enter your domain name and its associated password (These were emailed to you, if you do not have them please call Technical Support for assistance) 3. Click the "Manage" menu item found on the top horizontal menu bar 4. Click the "DNS Manager" application found on the left All DNS edits available to you can be made through this application.
Are there file path changes for my site?
Yes there are. While we will have made all attempts to make these changes for you, in the future your file paths for your reference are: Windows - use the following code: path = Server.MapPath("/") Unix - use the following path: /services/webpages/[1st_letter_of_domain]/[2nd_letter_of_domain]/[domain]/[filepath] i.e. /services/webpages/t/e/test.com/file.name
How do I configure my email accounts to my email program?
To manage your email accounts and to create new accounts at ABI Hosting, please do the following: 1. Log in to the WebsiteOS with your login information (see instructions above) 2. Select the "EasyMail Setup" button within the "Email" section 3. You can now create and manage all aspects of your email, including setting up Auto responders, Aliases, Spam Filtering, Catch-all and Personal Mail. Will there be changes to my Billing?
While you are obtaining an upgraded service, there will be no changes to your total amount payable. All future invoices be itemised on a per domain basis.
My FTP and WebsiteOS control panel passwords don't seem to be working. How can I retrieve my password?
Your new FTP and WebsiteOS control panel passwords were sent to you in the Welcome Email that you should have received following the migration. These emails were sent to the administrative email account on file with ABI Hosting. If this email was not received, please contact us directly via email at support@ABIhosting.com or by phone at 1-866-993-0380 and we will be more than happy to help you.
How do I connect to my website via SSH?
1. First you must log into the WebsiteOS at http://manage.ABIhosting.com/OS4 with your domain and password, (you can use your existing FTP password to login).
2. Once logged in, access the Secure Shell application found in the "Manage" section of WebsiteOS
3. Choose your SSH password to set up your access using Secure Shell

Server: shell2c25.carrierzone.com
Username: domain.com
Password: Password created using Secure Shell application in WebsiteOS
How do I access my MySQL Database?
1) Login to your domain via FTP
2) In your /private directory we have placed a mysql.dblogin file.
3) Open this file from your desktop with a text editor. The following information will be contained in the file.
DOMAIN: domain.com
DBSERVER: sql5c25c.carrierzone.com
DBUSER: dbuser
DBPASS: dbpassword
DBNAMES: db1_domain_com db2_domain_com
In order to create new databases or view your existing database, login to your control panel at http://manage.ABIhosting.com/OS4, select Manage from the application menu and select the Database Manager application.
